3 Projects In The Works

Very often I find myself working on many things at once and sometimes it’s nice to take a break from one to start on another. Here are 3 projects I am currently working on and what I am doing about them where they are in the process of being made.

Secret Vinyl Club – SVC is something that I have been working on for a few years. The screenplay itself took 7 years to write. In that time I had a few books published a bunch of other stuff and comics designed with my friend. The screenplay was submitted to the Nicholl Fellowship run by The Academy. We were told that around early August we would hear about the placement of our scripts and see where it takes us. It’s now the 7th and not anybody I have seen online has noticed that they have received a placement email yet. I have my fingers and toes crossed. The placement of this script will determine a lot of my next chess moves with the project and my writing as well as my educational career.

Orbiters are something that I am writing now that I rewrote a couple of times already. It’s a story I wrote while in the hospital or at least the drawings I made in the hospital were the inspiration for this animated film. It is a story about who you let into your inner orbit and how sometimes you lose people in your orbit and other times people are let go or fade like star dust in the cosmic skies.

Grad School Diary for a while I have been writing about my experience going to grad school. I tried to drop out only to find out that you can’t drop out you just stop taking classes then 2 years go by before you have to apply again. So I am a graduate student in a Masters of Business Administration which is a cool thing to say. I took the Fall semester off so far but will likely go back either the 2nd 1/2 of it or perhaps during the Spring. I look forward to it.

In conclusion the things I am working on are all long term projects that are chipped away and mostly writing related. 2 screenplays and a book or diary whatever you want to call it. It’s an interesting thing and gives me something to look forward to.
